Calculate fitness index with a 2km walk

This is a test that works well for healthy adults, and where you know the distance.



Time needed: 20 minutes.

Find an even and hard track where you know the distance is 2 km long

  1. Walk as fast as you can without running

    Try to keep the same pace the entire test

  2. When you get close to finishing line you can start checking your pulse

  3. When passing finishing line, document the time in minutes and seconds and remember the pulse.
